HIGH SCHOOL PROGRAM
The Michigan Premier high school program is recognized as one of the most successful programs in the Midwest. We take great pride in the development of our players. The program is designed specifically to empower young women to thrive beyond the court by developing strength of character, leadership skills, strong work ethic, and self-confidence through the love of basketball and athletic excellence. Our priority is to optimize individual player and overall team performance through hands on leadership focusing on individual fundamental skill training/development, game situations, and team dynamics/unity. We coach our players to compete to their highest level of ability. Coaches mentor athletes while instilling life skills such as teamwork, leadership, self-discipline, responsibility, work ethic, and sportsmanship. These life lessons will equip them to be highly successful adults and the leaders of tomorrow.
The high school program is an elite level college exposure program. It is designed for girls who are determined to play at the collegiate level but also includes players who simply want to be the best high school player they can be. Although most of our high school players play multiple sports, they are committed to their personal basketball development.

COACHES
Michigan Premier high school coaches are the best in the business. All teams have highly skilled and experienced coaches. All of our coaches played collegiately and/or coach at the high school varsity level. Michigan Premier coaches are passionate and committed to girls' basketball. Coach development is as important as player development. Therefore, our coaches are continually striving to learn in all areas of the game through coaching clinics and education. We provide continuous developmental support through coach certifications. All high school coaches are required to be USA Basketball certified and attend the BCAM Coach's Clinic (the biggest and most reputable clinic in Michigan) where they learn from elite level collegiate and high school coaches.
SEASON/TOURNAMENT SCHEDULE
Our high school season begins immediately following the conclusion of the MHSAA high school season. Tournaments run April, May and July. There is a scheduled break in June to allow athletes to play with their high school varsity teams in the BCAM Reaching Higher Event.
All of our high school teams play a full NCAA recruiting schedule that consists of 4 NCAA certified events and 4-5 additional elite level tournaments.
Team specific schedules will be posted on individual team pages once available.
PRACTICE
High school practices begin the week after the MHSAA Regional Finals. All high school teams practice twice per week in the Jackson area. We intentionally support multi-sport athletes and intentionally choose to be flexible with school spring sports schedules. All of our practices are scheduled at 7pm or on off tournament weekends to allow athletes to attend their spring sport practices. We expect athletes to attend all practices, if available.
UNIFORMS
Premier uniforms are a one-time purchase. We use the same uniforms each year (9th-11th grade), so players have the option to wear it for multiple years or until they grow out of it. Uniforms can be purchased after tryouts.
RECRUITING
Michigan Premier has proven college recruiting success at all levels with 100% of our players having the opportunity to play at the collegiate level. We believe the college recruiting process is a collaborative effort between the players (and their families), the club and the college coaches. The program provides support with hundreds of college coach connections and an incredible social media presence. The Premier program has three directors who specifically work on the behalf of our players to facilitate their recruitment. Andrea Cabana (program director), Kris Wallace (associate director) and Codi Cole (regional program director) have hundreds of respected collegiate coach relationships through decades of experience. They are directly connected to almost every college program in the Midwest. Their ability to understand each players recruiting needs and goals and oversee their connection and interaction with college coaches is extraordinary. Please see their bios on the resources page.
